November Update!

M233 Amlaird

Construction of the associated drive / reception pits, 2No x 1800 Ø tunnels under the M77 motorway and 2No x 1500 Ø under track crossings are complete. We are currently stripping and demobilising our Herrenknecht 1800 AVN equipment. We have an extremely satisfied customer.

M235 Amington

Works to divert an existing fuel pipeline under the Coventry Canal using HDD were successfully completed during mid September.

M236 Bryn Cowlyn

Site mobilisation for the construction of a 10½m diameter shaft has been further delayed by the Employer and is now expected to commence early 2017.

M237 Llanberris HST

The dewatering team has recently mobilised to site. We will be following a carefully managed draw down plan and water discharge regime that should enable construction of the 12½mØ Humus Sedimentation Tank to commence in mid November 2016.

 M238 Dreghorn

Site mobilisation for the construction of 4No x road crossing using AEY unguided auger boring equipment will commence 7 November 2016.

M239 Tovil

Site mobilisation at the Tovil UTX is expected to commence 14 November 2016. The works comprise the installation of a 610mm steel pipe with internal plastic liner using AEY guided auger equipment and grouting of an existing collapsed drainage culvert.

D501 Marsh Barton

Works to install the UTX are on hold pending consent from Network Rail.

 D503 Deeside

Works to install the RDX are on hold pending consent from Traffic Wales.

 D509 Llanberris HDD

Works to install a surface water run off pipe using the AEY American Augers D50 drill rig are ongoing. Unforeseen ground conditions are causing additional delays.

 D514 RAF Marham

Works to install numerous bundles of telecoms ducts at several crossings under the main runways and associated taxiways are ongoing using the AEY Vermeer D50 and the AEY Astec 40/45 drill rigs.
