2000-2001 Project specific partnering contract, competitive tender, ICE 6 form of contract. * A666 St. Peters Way Structural Repairs, (Civils value £620k). Repair, strengthening and waterproofing of two major bridges and a pedestrian subway on the elevated A666 dual carriageway. Bolton MBC asked for our assistance in adopting a formal 'Partnering' approach in undertaking this traditionally tendered contract. 2001-2004 Strategic Partnering Agreement, competetive tender, ICE 6 form of contract. * Major Highways and Highway Structures, (Civils value £540k). Group 1 Structures – A666, Manchester Road Skew Bridge, Wharf Foundry Retaining Wall & Church Wharf Subway, completed late in 2001. Pre-start workshops and teambuilding sessions, where the 'Partnering Mission Statement' and KPI's were agreed. On completion we jointly undertook a review workshop to identify successes and ensure learning. We entered into this agreement with Bolton following the success of the A666 Partnering Project. We are currently undertaking 'Albert Road Reconstruction & King Street / Albert Road Junction Improvement' (£750k under ICE 6) and 'Buckley Lane Reconstruction', Farnworth (£370k under ICE 6), 'Georges Lane & Egerton Retaining Walls' (£320k under ICE Minor Works). We are currently discussing advancing this Partnering Arrangement and the introduction of the NEC/ECC suite of contracts. 'Beaumont Road (North) Reconstruction' (£1.40m) is the first contract awarded by Bolton under the NEC/ECC Option 'C' form of contract, commenced October 2003. |
