Congratulations to A E Yates employee Dave Nuttall aka 'Taff' who is on site at the Stublach Gas Storage Project in Cheshire.

The Client, Storengy, run a 'Safety & Environmental Observation of the Month Award' with the successful applicant receiving a £50 cheque.

This month 'Taff' was named the winner after he spotted a Song Thrush's nest in one of the hedges about to be removed. Taff reported this and as a result the road was redesigned allowing work to carry on without disturbing the nest.

Two weeks later due to Taff's awareness and quick thinking, five Song Thrushes hatched.
