Contract News : New Compressor House Project, Ince

The work being completed for GrowHow (UK) Ltd involves the construction of a 25m x 12m slab on 10m deep 300mm diameter bottom driven concrete piles.

On top of this are 6No. of 1m sq RC columns 7m high for a 12m x 5m x 1.2m slab to support a large specialist compressor being manufactured and shipped from Germany.

The compressor will be used to process ammonia which is a core ingredient in the fertiliser that GrowHow produce.

The current compressor and ammonia plant is pre-1960's and GrowHow, over the next few years, will start updating various components with the ammonia plant.
