A project funded jointly by Lancashire County Council, the North West Development Agency (NWDA) and BAE Systems.

Works which are now in the closing stages have comprised of earthworks, kerbing and drainage.

Ducting for traffic signals and street lighting was installed by a combination of traditional open-cut and HDD trenchless techniques.  In addition, carriageway re-alignments, new surfacing and road markings have been carried out to facilitate the installation of traffic signals within roundabouts and exit slip roads off the M6.

We are currently completing installation of new lighting columns, road signage and landscaping works.
