Shaft Sinking Projects

A E Yates Trenchless Solutions Ltd has carried out numerous Shaft Sinking works either as part of a larger tunnelling contract or as individual one off operations. These have varied in size from 2.1m standard caisson for guided auger work to a 20m diameter shaft for pumping station / detention tanks and have been undertaken in a variety of construction methods from wet caissons in running sand to underpinning in hard rock.

This flexibility in techniques is aided by A E Yates Trenchless Solutions Ltd in-house plant capability of numerous jacks and frames for caisson work to excavators with telescopic arms and grabs.
